Controlling your business:
• No hand pricing – shelf edge labels are automatically printed for new products and price changes.
• Minimal price input at till – bar-coded items are scanned and recognized by the till.

• Price queries – bar-coded items can be scanned without being added to the sale line.
• Accurate and immediate sales history – all till transactions are sent to the back office where the information is consolidated and available for querying.
• Efficient EFT transactions – EFT transactions are performed using one terminal, connected to the till.
• Stock control – Each item sold is recorded and stock levels are adjusted accordingly, allowing accurate and easier ordering.
• Ordering – Orders can be created through a range of means from scanning price labels using the Piccolink terminal to suggested ordering whereby the system generates suggested order quantities based on sales history, seasonal fluctuations and promotion forecasting.
• The SPARPoS ‘back-office’ computer is capable of producing many reports to help you run your store more profitably. Such reports include Top/Bottom Sellers, Slow Moving Lines, Commodity Group and Department Sales reports.

Communication with Appleby Westward:
• Orders are sent electronically to the Appleby Westward Warehouse
• Product description and price information, invoices and promotion information can all be received electronically via the same method.

Accuracy and Functionality:
• Likelihood of errors is dramatically reduced ensuring information is far more accurate.
• A system backup is performed automatically every night.
• As well as basic functionality such as performing transactions, refunds and price enquiries, the tills also provide more advanced features such as support of customer credit accounts, age restricted sales warnings, suspended sales and multi-buy promotion discounts.
