A manager at Appleby Westward has received a road haulage industry competency award.
Del Phillips (above left), Head of Ambient Operations for the company, is pictured receiving the award from Nigel Taylor, the company’s Trading and Supply Chain Director.
He achieved the Certificate of Professional Competence in National Road Haulage Level 3 following an intensive course held at the Notter Bridge Training Centre. The qualification is offered on behalf of the Department of Transport and includes a range of subjects related to road haulage transport management.
