SPAR retailers from all over the South West enjoyed a successful two-day seminar at the Atlantic Hotel, Newquay and visited two convenience stores in the area to see examples of best retail practice.
The group are pictured here visiting the SPAR store in Quintrell Downs which has recently re-opened after a major extension and refurbishment scheme. The party also visited the Chester Road, Newquay store of brothers Lee and Alex Moorse which was also the subject of a major refit at the end of last year.
Pictured right in the group is Nick Kenworthy, Sales Director of Appleby Westward, the regional distribution company for SPAR in the south west. He said: “Our successful series of seminars are called Look and Learn meetings and provide a valuable insight for retailers into developments within SPAR and profitable store management. It also provides an opportunity for them to learn best retail practice from fellow store owners and the latest developments affecting the convenience sector.”
